Villa Ubud Hill

Very clean and comfortable. Great value for money. Pool was refreshing and gardens well maintained. Laundry on the corner to the driveway too. Fantastic!

A little too far to walk for places to eat. They say it’s priced because of the construction going on next door but it really wasn’t that bad. They have installed privacy screens too.

Big spacious rooms, comfortable beds. The staff were attentive and helpful. Nice garden space. Loved the washing washing.

Could of done with more towels in the bathrooms (hand towels etc) Given that the villa can cater for 6 people it would have been helpful to have enough sun loungers for everyone, and perhaps an extra sofa space. The downstairs toilet needed a big clean and new toilet seats. The outside showers were not secluded enough.

Beautiful villa with lots of space ideal for families or a group. The kitchen was well equipped if you wanted to spend a night in. The bedrooms were large with ensuites and comfortable beds. The open kitchen/lounge next to the pool was ideal for hanging out and keeping cool during the midday heat. We met some of the cleaning staff on our arrival who were friendly and helpful showing us how to use things and offering us use of the washing machine. The villa manager was attentive and easy to contact via WhatsApp.

Mosquitoes were hard to keep out of the bedrooms due to the house being open plan.

Great location with big rooms.

Some things were a little old. Towels with holes. Kettle not working.

Not much to be honest. The living areas are open air - I feel like this needs to be more clearly specified in the listing details. This resulted in lots of mosquitos and twice we came out of the bedroom and found random cats on the kitchen bench which made it feel like we were camping rather than staying in a private villa. Road is very busy and not the best for walking down. Place is also not the cleanest - the table cloth on the dining table was filthy and the cushions on the couch were covered in mould.

There was no electricity for nearly 3 hours on our last evening - not ideal with young children and no air con/lighting. When I contacted the house manager he told me it was a black out but it clearly wasn’t as it was only our villa that had no power - the neighbours all had it. Disappointing communication during this time - the house manager was quick to respond to messages if we wanted tours or transport but his communication when there was an urgent issue was very lacklustre.
