Villa Primaluce

Wow, what a peaceful place! Flowers, plus orange trees all around. It smelled so good! It was quiet and very safe. The whole place is new or freshly renovated. Loved the tile work and decor in the room and around the hotel. Room and bath were spacious. It has a modern shower with all the heads! Hosts were so nice and helpful. They even made us a bagged breakfast/lunch to go since we were leaving early. Breakfast room is all glass, in the middle of the garden. Plenty of outdoor spots to relax. Free parking on the property.

It was raining when we went so not much to do. Room was ok they charged extra for sofa bed. We stayed for 2 nights but room wasn’t cleaned in between days. Breakfast was ok. Location is bit remote overall was ok stay

Property was excellent! Nice little oasis !!! Was a perfect gem near the sea!!

The owners tried hard to make our stay comfortable. Very thoughtful and hospitable. Enjoyed the atmosphere.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Primaluce! The room was comfortable, and the owners were very friendly and helpful. It’s also close to the sea, which was great. The breakfast was delicious, with tasty homemade local food. I highly recommend staying here!

It is very close to the sea about 5mins walk plus there are restaurants so there is no need to travel to Pizzo in the evening. It is about a 10 minute drive to Pizzo where there are many different restaurants of all types to choose from. The owners were very helpful and attentive, and enough English to be able to understand each other. The property is well away from the road but the train does pass close by, however we did not find that to be a problem at all. There is ample parking

Tea and coffee maker in the room would be nice

The property is very nice and it’s close to the beach where you can stay for free. The owners were nice and provided me some gluten free options for breakfast and they also gave us an umbrella to use for the beach. The room was big, nice and clean. The bathroom very nice and clean. The AC works perfect. We also seen lizards around and cactus plants- very beautiful to see them in the natural habitat. The parking is in the front of the property, it is safe, they have cameras and we didn’t had any unpleasant surprises ( we had a rented car - so we were preoccupied about this aspect) The place it’s close to Tropea & Scilla in case you want to visit. ( in Tropea there is a safe parking lot 1,5 € per hour-safe next to the port) The water is crystal clear and the beach is perfect! ( just bring your water shoes as there are some stones) Although the water is quite deep and isn’t a smooth entrance.

As there is always place for improvement I will be much more careful before doing the next booking because: -> Pay attention to the fact that check out it’s at 10 AM. ( the owner said that we can stay until 10:30, but this wasn’t helpful as we only wanted to go to beach and then return around 11:30 to have a short shower and then leave for our next destination ) ->Also the breakfast it’s “Italian style” meaning a coffee and some sweets or fruits. (There are some nice places to eat on the beach. ) -> there is NO shower gel or shampoo in the bathroom. ( something that I have never seen in any other place) We also stayed in one of the rooms from ground floor and my husband got bitten by red ants.. we noticed there were plenty of them in the room, but didn’t notice before because they are so small…. (But this can happen since the house it’s in the nature. ) The train that passes near to the house - isn’t something that bothered a lot, it only passed once or twice. ( I read this before on other comments)

We stayed here for 4 nights and it was really lovely! Room is spacious with nice size en-suite and walk-in wardrobe. A/C is available for all room as well as mini bar. Villa has a lovely big garden and a lot of parking space outside under the trees. Hosts were lovely people that gave us load of recommendations for restaurants, parkings, bars and places to see. They also did that extra step of serving us breakfast even if we could have done it ourselves. Place is also just 2 minutes walk to the beach and 10 minutes drive from centre of Pizzo. I can't recommend more and would definitely stay here again.
