Posada Buda-Tortuga

Very close to the beach, nice pool, nice covered area for lounging, helpful staff, nice cocktails.

We had to upgrade to get a quiet room, there was no shampoo & the room was not cleaned during our stay. The bed was also sunken in the center.

Es un lugar excelente, el personal increíble, la ubicación fantástica, las instalaciones y habitación perfecta, aunque no llevamos a nuestra mascota nos agrada que sea pet friendly, todo muy limpio, las vistas perfectas y la alberca super rica, súper recomendable!!

Me gustaría que el servicio de bar y alberca fuera hasta más tarde como en otros lugares ya que íbamos de festejo y todo cerro a las 7-8 ... Y por otro lado creo que sería bueno revisar el aire acondicionado porque hace demasiado ruido

The location on the beach front is beautiful

Our room was at the back of the hotel beside the staff kitchen, we were woken each morning at 7am by staff shouting outside our room. We made a complaint and there was no action taken. The bathroom is connected to the main road partially walled by a fly net so the noise from the main road is constant. To top it off it off there is construction next door which is also constant. Do not stay here if you value a restful night sleep. The aircon is right above the bed and fluctuates between too cold and too warm. The hotel has potential but falls short. The staff also appear disinterested and clueless.

Seafront location could have been good, but wasn't due to poor furnishings as, lack of cleanliness and ongoing construction of a new deck front. The room was next to the kitchen in the back with no view and right next to the adjacent very busy and very noisy road.

There was no prior notification of the hotel's own construction work nor that there was a large construction site right next door with constant hammering and power tools. Despite being promised a room move twice both times came to nothing. The person running the place was hopeless. We'd booked for a week but it was so bad we left after 3 days and sacrificed the cost - it was that bad. There are many other places to stay close by that are much better than this place. Our experience was awful.

El hotel da a la playa, los cuartos son amplios y tienen aire acondicionado. Está cerca de muchos restaurantes caminando. Mazunte y Zipolite queda a 5 min.

Creo que el precio por lo que se ofrece es mucho y por como está montado el hotel.

Location right by the beach is perfect, the cleaners cleaned the room ver well. The room and the bathroom were good. The pool was small, but nice and cool.

The hotel is massively overpriced and it is maximum a two star posada. The external areas of the hotel are not well maintained. The covers on the beach chairs are not changed for days and people from outside the hotel are lying there without towels. There is no restaurant, they get the food in from somewhere else. None of the staff speak even one word of English and some of them do not seem very motivated. One day they were rebuilding and we could not use the area outside our room. Please see picture attached. The owner was no prepared to talk to us about this. No one told us beforehand and we still paid full price. We let the posada know in advance that it was our sons birthday on the day of arrival and they said they would mark the occasion, they did nothing and our son was very disappointed. When you get out of the pool you skin itches badly and we are not sure how clean it is. In twenty five years of travelling around the world, this is the worst value hotel we have ever stayed in and this is an honest review. This hotel relies on the location and the pool, which in no way justifies the inflated price.
