Posada Buda-Tortuga

The area is great, very chilled atmosphere and beautiful scenery. The food and drinks were awesome.

This is not a five star hotel. Our junior suite was a regular double room. There is no window in the room and the front door opens to the public area. So you might have people sitting right in front of your room. There is no fridge in the room so you really have to buy cold drinks from the bar. No possibility to lay on the beach except a strange looking construction with a air bed and dirty sheets on it, not very hygenic. The whole place is not really tidy and not well managed or maintained. Not worth the price, there are a lot of othe hotels on the same beach with better amenities for the same or even lower price.

Everyone who worked at the hotel was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The location was absolutely perfect and the room was incredibly spacious. The water in the shower became hot straight away. We loved it!

The waves are quite loud at night, but we didn’t mind.

The location was right on the beach

Wifi was very poor. It was dog friendly which I wasn’t aware. The price of the drinks were too high. Our room was facing the beach, but the solid wooden doors opened directly to common area. No private outdoor space.
