Greyfriars Studio Edinburgh

Posizione molto comoda a Edimburgo, old town molto strategica. Anche se l’appartamento è situato davanti ai bidoni della spazzatura, se si apre la finestra per rinfrescare dopo la notte entra l’odore dei rifiuti urbani..

Essendo una struttura molto costosa, ci si aspetta cortesia da parte della proprietà per venire incontro a una richiesta molto semplice che è stata di poter fare un check-out ritardato invece che alle 10 alle 11, dal momento in cui il check-in per i clienti successivi è alle ore 3 del pomeriggio. con la mia fidanzata ci siamo ritrovati in una situazione molto spiacevole, essendo che lei si era ammalata, ho chiesto con la massima gentilezza più volte al proprietario di poter fare il check-in ritardato di una sola ora in modo da non far stare la mia ragazza al freddo tutto il giorno, visto che avevamo il volo di ritorno alle cinque del pomeriggio. Il proprietario è stato inamovibile, nessuna gentilezza né comprensione né rispetto. La camera deve essere lasciata entro e non oltre le 10 perché alle 10 devono venir fatte le pulizie.. mettendoci in grossa difficoltà abbiamo per forza di cose accettato questa sua scortesia. Ma puntualmente la mattina dopo ci siamo accorti che alle 10 non c’era nessuno a fare le pulizie, abbiamo lasciato la struttura alle 10:30 e non si è visto nessuno, quindi saremmo potuti comodamente rimanere più tempo nella struttura senza creare nessun problema. Essere presi in giro in questo modo è molto spiacevole.

It was a great location

Mould in the bathroom..you could smell it. It would have been nice to have some tea bags and milk provided. A folder with information would be helpful..not just the email sent

Location, price and facilities. Everything we needed was in the apartment though the noise is really inevitable as it is on a busy road. The host is also efficient with communication and is very accommodating. Perfect for short stays. We had a great stay nevertheless!

Location is excellent- keys are easy to find - flat is well stocked with good you might need

Very noisy, people noise to be expected because of the location however the floor in the property is extremely noisy also. Don’t recommend for babies etc. TV remote didn’t work. But all in all - happy

Location, location and location

The apartment is a little bit of worn out. given the high price charged to customers, the facilities should be upgraded to newer generation. For example the bathroom toilet is old style and looks a little disgusting, TV is hardly working, there is no dish washer etc. The windows aren’t sound proof, so quite noisy during the night. It caused problems to my wife as she is light sleeper.

Zentral in der Altstadt, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten bin in wenigen Minuten erreichbar

Leider abends und bis in die Nacht hinein sehr sehr laut aufgrund Geschrei. Dafür gibt es genug Ohrenstöpsel

Lovely studio, very clean, good location. the main host was lovely.

There was another host called David. Unbelievably rude and unhelpful when I had an issue, leaving me with no TV for a 2 night stay

Close to places of interest and had everything we could possibly need. Flexible with our arrival too.

It was very noisy at night with many people passing by the windows yelling and partying. We didn't get much sleep.
