Greyfriars Studio Edinburgh

Great location. The flat has everything you need.

This is a studio apartment so it was excellent for our 4 night stay. It even had a washer. It is just on the edge of the Grassmarket so location was perfect. Close to everything. We had turned in the car before we got to Edinburgh. I think parking and driving would have been pretty much impossible. Lots of groceries and food in the area so no need. Close to train station too. Use the Hop on hop off for sight seeing. It is very close.

We stayed first floor with a window right in front. This might bother some people but we were fine with it. Getting keys keys and codes was a bit complex so read the instructions carefully. It is all there you just need to follow it. Once you have it figured out, very easy.

The apartment was cute and cosy. Great location. Despite being on a busy road, it felt quiet. It has everything you could possibly need, including a convenience shop right outside!

Was very dusty. Bed was uncomfortable. Needed a bit of tlc, facilities a bit tired. Couldn’t open the windows.

Perfect location!

The bed was not the most comfort ever but fine for 3 nights stay Our socks got always wet when walking to the shared bathrooms, for someone this could be a detail but I did not like that. Maybe a rag could be left in the bathroom for guests to clean after themselves the water from the floor?

The location was excellent, very central and easy to access everything Good restaurants located close by The hosts were wonderful and super helpful & responsive, we couldn't fault them The facilities were great This was acrwally comfortable well equipped apartment

The external noise - this apartment is ground floor, facing the road. With so many bars and restaurants close by, people were outside yelling and laughing till the early hours which made sleep difficult.
