HOTEL xcell

Very large clean room with entry hallway, seperate bathroom with a big bath and a shower next to the tub. Very large and comfy bed. Lots of free amenities, including icecream, soda drinks and deserts all day. For only 38 euro a night!!

The location was besides an industrial area, ten minutes walk from the trainstation, and then one stop to the central station.. My bad, had to check better before booking. Think this is actually a love hotel, with rooms also for rent for a couple of hours......

It was a nice hotel, with a bath big enough to comfortably fit 2 people, which is kind of rare here. Lots of amenities, which are always a plus! Overall a great value!

This is supposedly a thematic hotel meant for couples(hint). There are costumes for rent at the check-in lobby. However, it is also perfect for my stay. The room is incredibly spacious. The bed is comfortable, there's even a sofa and table. The shower is also big, with a Jacuzzi. It took me 10min to cycle from Fukuyama train station, normal travelers should consider local transportation. There's a huge Sports Depo and dining outlets within walking distance. I would consider staying here for the space in my future visits.

Though these did not affect me much, but I would say the room deco is a little dated. There's a stale smell in the air, gone away after I aired the room by open up the balcony for an hour. The smell likely from the fabric or aircon. The aircon filters can also use some cleaning.

I have always followed their policies, the payment has always previously been taken from my booking.com. They did not tell me I should pay at the property despite trying to con me out of 1000 yen extra when I arrived yesterday. I have stayed at this property many times before and have NEVER paid at the property. They called me at 12:20 to tell me I should pay at the property, by this time I had obviously left and was on my way to work. There customer service this time was beyond bad. The internet was not working properly in the very noisy room they had given me, they were rude and then decided to change the payment system and then somehow act as if this was my fault. It is a disgrace that this should fall on my shoulders. Why did they not inform me before check out that payment was required at the property. Why did they not inform me on check in? They were to busy trying to swindle me out of extra money. I am, of course, happy to pay for the room but I refuse to drive back to the property to do so, will they pay for my fuel and time? This is a mistake in their behalf, due to poor customer service and laziness. They will be getting a very honest review on your site. Unbelievably disappointed as previously they’ve always been great. What a let down. Typical
