I LOVED the decor so much, loved the kindness at check-in, loved the text from Taylor. Just loved the entire experience.

I suppose the only true thing I could have had better was more pillows.

I had the opportunity to take a solo, overnight trip in January 2026 to do a bit of exploring around Flint and meet up with a couple of friends in the area. I had been intrigued about this hotel ever since I first heard that it had opened (who knew downtown Flint could get a higher-end hotel?). I decided this was the perfect opportunity for me to try it out and experience it for a night. It's interesting that this hotel occupies a building that used to a bank. Kinda neat! All in all, I had a great experience here. The front-desk staff were friendly, my room (#1001) was clean and comfortable... no problems whatsoever. I can't speak to the amenities I didn't really use them (didn't use the restaurant or fitness center), but it was nice that they are available for guests who want them. As for parking, I didn't want to use valet... so I just parked across the street in the garage. It's $5 per entry but has no in-and-out privileges, unfortunately. Not a big deal, though... because the number of times I was coming and going wasn't unreasonable... and I wasn't really all that fazed about paying the $5 each time. I don't know if I'll ever have an opportunity or need to stay in downtown Flint again, but if I ever do, I will definitely stay here. I really liked this hotel and would gladly stay here again. Maybe next time, I can experience the restaurant and fitness center!
