Sand Dunes - All linen supplied Bunk linen provided for self-making

Large well laid out property. Air conditioning was a must as the house is quite hot, all bedrooms and common areas are air conditioned. Bathrooms have been renovated. The 80’s era table top gaming console was great fun.

Light switches in the kitchen are on the far wall so if you are coming from entrance area it is awkward when looking to turn lights on or off at night. There are four tv sets but only two had functioning remotes and the washing machine in the laundry is not connected to hot water all though they do have a dryer installed. The staff when we returned the keys recorded this and said they would investigate. The doors and windows are original, a little hard to operate and have sticks as added security to prevent the windows being opened. There is no access to the garages to store your car. Garbage bins were full, based on the size of the house and the regular holiday letting I think the property should be on commercial garbage service with weekly collections. Some instructions for the oven/grill would be useful. We found it frustrating dealing with the property managers as we received emails in relation to our stay conflicting with the details advertised on the Booking.com website. I had to make several phone calls to the managers to verify our booking to sort out the payment, linen provided and the bond amount. We were charged an additional credit card fee on top of the “all inclusive rate” advertised on Booking.com and the information sent from the managers said we had to pay a bond of $1500 rather than $500 and that linen wasn’t provided.

The dining table for our family was amazing.

That I could only stay for 2 nights instead of 3 as per booking, cause my partner couldn’t get of work on the Monday.

This house was perfect for a large family. Had everything we could need. Kids loved the arcade game. Well-equipped kitchen, however, a bigger frypan and some sharper knives would be handy. Rooms were spacious, aircon and fans in every room. Fantastic large table for big groups. Really close to the sand dunes and One Mile beach. Would stay here again.

A couple of little things but didn't hugely impact our stay. One aircon in kitchen wasn't working, bins on street hadn't been emptied which made it hard at end of stay with an already full bin. One of the fans in the upstairs room was really noisy. Could have had sharper knives in the kitchen and bigger frypan but seriously nothing major.
