NLThe room was clean and the facilities (pool and mini-golf) and the view from the room were good.
The description indicated that the beach was 250m away but in actual fact it was closer to 1km to walk or drive there. The property also advertised Wi-Fi which was non-existent in the rooms.
ZAEverything was amazing ! The staff were friendly and helpful .There are so many things to do .The beach is close by, and you literally didn't need to leave the premises .
The internet was barely ever working

GBWonderful views of the coastline and quick, easy access to the beaches. Beautiful, unspoilt, wild beaches - which are difficult to find anywhere in the world these days. Each unit had a lovely, large balcony with a large table and chairs to sit at and enjoy the beautiful coast. We always like self-catering facilities and the kitchen of our accomm had all the essentials. Given the power/energy crisis of South Africa, it was extremely sensible and practical to have a gas cooking hob. It did also have an electric oven. The resort has a generator to kick-in when there are power outages - which is almost imperative to a seamless, hassle-free holiday in South Africa. The master bedroom had the most comfortable bed we've slept in (almost anywhere in our various travels). A huge bonus was that there was alternative, lighter weight bedding available in the unit. Everywhere we have travelled (whether it be summer or winter) the standard bedding has been a duvet only, which is impossible to regulate the temperature under. for a good night's sleep. The resort had good facilities for families too.
Wi-fi was very poor depending on one's network provider. For folk having a longish stay a personal laundry facility could be a big bonus. Monkeys were a constant nuisance. You could not leave doors and windows open as in the blink of eye they'd be in and stealing foodstuffs. The situation could possibly be remedied with a simple monkey-proof mesh at windows?
