"I cannot wait to return to try another themed room, maybe the Haunted Mansion."

The breakfast was great. Best waffles ever, and they accommodate a lot of dietary needs. The people working and staying here were so friendly. The room was amazing with its themed orientation to Dolly Parton. This motel has nine other themed room options. Highly recommend.

Just to let future customers know, this place is built on a hill, so there is an upward walk from parking. Some woodsy walking to the rooms including steps up into rooms. This may be an issue for some people.

We had the most Amazing time at Hicksville!! Went with a large group and we loved the rooms, the facilities, the breakfast -- everything! The only thing that concerned me was the rickety stairs leading up to the 2nd story rooms. Would be nice if they fixed those, they felt a bit dangerous. But otherwise everything was fantastic. The Innkeepers were so friendly and helpful, the Rec room was fun, and the views were gorgeous. 10/10 would recommend!
