Hampton Inn Niles

Great location.

We arrived at 3:30 to check in on the first day of a 2 day stay. A king bed room had been reserved about 3 weeks prior to our arrival. During the check in process the clerk told us they had overbooked on the king rooms and only had a twin queen room available, not a great way to start our stay. We were in town for a family reunion and I didn’t have time to try and find another room before we were to be at our event. We took the queen reluctantly because of time and it was a Friday afternoon and we needed a place to stay. We put our things in the room and left for our event. Upon returning at 10:00 that evening, when my wife pull the sheets back we found them to be bloodstained. So we pulled back the comforter on the other bed to use that one and the comforter was bloodstained. Pulled that off and put that on the first bed, due to the hour slept in bed #2 anyway. Talked to the morning manager about the situation and they agreed to find us a king room later that day. She said she’d call when it was ready—never did. Left our event to check on it (15 minutes away) and found the afternoon manager knew about the situation and had a room for us. We went to the room and found the door open, bed was made, doors and drawers for dresser were all open. My wife pulled back the sheets to check after all the issues only to find a stain on the bottom sheet where nobody wants to see one. The manager prepared the room for us, apologized, but no offer of any type of comps. Never again.

Only ice machine was on the 1st floor

Swimming, great set of weights for workouts in gym.breakfast buffet nice over all

Dog friendly, clean facility and easy to walk the pet around building. Dog poop bag are available staight out center back door.

This hotel has worst employees. Starting from GM down. Staff is very rude. With a reservation being made and checked in via Hilton Honors App. The front desk guy couldn’t pull up reservation and room we had or trouble shoot “said problem”. Rude to my wife after driving her 69 yr old mother’s belongings from North Dakota/ South Dakota. 13 hours on road to put up with these people. FORGET IT!

Beware of the card charges taken at check in, they say there is an incidental charge but try to charge for room after already paid

Clean and quiet. The breakfast area is very clean and food was great for hotel breakfast. The staff was very polite.

Everyone was very nice.

Room was clean, quiet and comfortable Staff member was arguementative on check in. After a 2 hour drive then checking in on the mobile app, being told you are not in the system and we have no registration for you. Choice of words could have been better, a coworker overheard the conversation and told her where to find my paid reservation. Also staff smoking at the front door never looks good.
