My Place Hotel-Marion, OH

My grandmother was in the hospital, and they worked with us on extending our stay and letting us keep the same room. There was coffee in the lobby 24 hours a day, always hot and fresh. They were so kind during some of the hardest days of my life.

My room smelled like pets. I called the front desk and asked if there was a pet-free room available. I was told that pets can't be turned away and so there may have been pets in any of the rooms. I was asked if I wanted the carpet sprayed with an oil that eliminates odors. I opted for a new room, however, it smells nauseous as well. When I go to a hotel I ask for a room that has not had smokers I am accommodated. Seems like this hotel descriminates against guests who want clean air and a non-soiled carpet that has been sprayed with an odor reducing oil. Non pet owners have rights too. I won't be back.
