Aloft by Marriott Mooresville

This hotel has a program where they keep a shelter dog who is in need of a home on the property. You can walk the dog or take it to your room for the evening or for a few hours. My friend and I had a wonderful time with ‘Sarah’ and took to our room for several hours. I understand, from staff, that they have facilitated in many pet adoptions. What a wonderful idea!

I had a terrible experience at this hotel. The staff was unprofessional, and the customer service was awful. I made reservations for two rooms at a rate of $181 each, but I was charged $633 in total. When I inquired about the additional charges, I was not given a clear explanation. Top it off our phone didn’t work in the room and it was dirty with half full water botttles someone drank from! Horrible! Hunter, the staff member I spoke with, was extremely rude and dismissive. When I asked about the charges, he responded with attitude, telling me not to "put words in his mouth." I had to contact the hotel's customer service line, and only after they intervened did he admit that a system glitch had caused the overcharge. I recorded him so if he tries to lie I have the recording! This experience was frustrating and unacceptable. I will never stay at this hotel again, and I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a smooth and hassle-free stay

Our door lock required a visit from the engineer to manually open it since our cards didn’t work. Very loud location although the hotel itself was quiet.

Clean and comfortable with a very lively lobby bar. The hotel rooms were a bit smaller than i'm used to, but it was a good choice for a 1 night stay in close proximity to a customer. We ordered virtually every dish from the bar for a late night working session - the staff/servers were excellent and the food was decent for bar food (pizza, tacos, wings). I would stay here again.

We had a mouse or something scratching around in the room...303 Freaked me out and couldn't sleep after hearing it.. It took 10 minutes for the shower water to get warm!

The hotel was updated and very comfortable beds. This is one of my favorite hotels to visit when I’m traveling for work. The customer service at the front desk is excellent and the foster dog program that the hotel participates in is the absolute best thing for dog to get adopted. I really felt at home during my visit.
