Lage perfekt, Frühstück gibt es nicht. Besonders die Lage zum Fortbildungsinstitut und zum Bahnhof. Geschmackvolle Einrichtung und Freundlichkeit.

Good location, right at the Altona station, ca 40 min from the airport & easy to reach by S-Bahn. Very lively and nice area (Ottensen) with many green, cosy streets and plenty of cafés, restaurants and shops. Building new/renovated, all facilities very modern, a spacious rooftop terrace perfect for having breakfast or even sunbathing. Room well-furnished, esp. the kitchen (fully equipped with all tableware/cutlery/pots/pans one might need, as well as a fridge/refrigerator, a microwave, a dishwasher, a toaster etc.). TV with many cable channels. Bed comes with a hard mattress (which I liked). There is even a laundry room (though I couldn't find the way to it). ABSOLUTELY LOVELY STAFF, very helpful, friendly, attentive and professional – I felt so welcome there! It was nice to practise some German, too! :-)

No air conditioning so the rooms get very hot (I was staying there during the June heatwave), but there is an electric fan (like a Dyson Purifier type) that helps cool the air a bit. Some street noise disturbing the sleep at night / in the morning, so I would recommend rooms facing the inner yard for better sleep quality. (Still, I slept well at night.)

Das Oberdeck nur ca. ca. 5 min vom Bahnhof Altona entfernt und trotzdem in ruhiger Lage. Die Zimmer sind sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Dachterrasse ist das absolute Highlight.

Great location! The rooms are well appointed and clean! This was my second stay at Oberdeck and once again it was wonderful.
