Hotel Zaro

Väldigt bra läge nära fin strand och ett helt ok poolområde.

The room was fantastic. Beautiful tile floor, spacious room with wardrobe and dresser, lovely view over the garden and a powerful AC for those hot June Ischia days. Excellent location to get to the beach or find a place to eat. Nice pool and delicious attached restaurant. My partner got a massage while we were there and loved it.

The Wifi only reaches into the lobby and can't be accessed by the room, leaving us with just mobile data, which wasn't strong.

The hotel and grounds are beautiful and in walking distance of local amenities and the beach. Staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious too. Our room and the entire space including the pool were very clean.

We had an excellent stay. The property is spacious and spotless, acess to San Francesco beach is easy via the hotel grounds and the staff is excellent, everyone was super pleasant and went above and beyond. Family rooms is spacious and has a lovely view and there is a small playground for kids. Nice buffet breakfast with amazing cakes, meats, fruit, yogurt etc

We liked everything. If I wanted to be super picky, it would be great to have more sockets in the room and coffee could be better, it was the one thing we would change. Despite this, we would come back, it’s a great hotel

Hotel Zaro feels like a remnant of another era – charming, clean, and clearly well-maintained, but also untouched by modern updates. The setting has a nostalgic appeal, with an atmosphere that suggests time has stood still.

Staff were polite, but communication was exclusively in Italian. Almost no English was spoken, and no information or assistance was offered unless explicitly asked for – whether about schedules, services, or practical matters. It felt like guests were expected to already know how everything works or figure it out on their own. The room was tidy and peaceful, but lacked some essential amenities: there was no waste bin, no towel rack for drying, and no minibar. The pillows were unfortunately quite uncomfortable, and we both woke up with sore necks. Particularly puzzling was the hotel's policy prohibiting guests from bringing their own food or drinks into the room, especially given the limited in-house options. Hotel Zaro sparks curiosity: what was this place like in its heyday, and could it rediscover its potential with a few thoughtful updates? There’s undeniable charm, but also a sense that the experience could be much richer with just a bit more attention to the modern traveler’s needs.

Slightly old school (bad wifi and not pristine cleanliness if you're a germaphobe though my OCD girlfriend thought it was fine) abut loved it, amazing location, grounds and pool complex with thermal pools and plunge pool.

Hotel quattro stelle che vale un buon tre stelle superior o un 4 stelle degli anni ‘80. Stanza superior che di superiore aveva poco. Buona super colazione ma solo per i cornetti, per il resto molto scarna e con poca scelta. Bellissimo giardino , ma la struttura in sé avrebbe bisogno di un restyling o di maggiori servizi.
