Die Villa di Natale liegt etwas oberhalb von der Stadt mit einem grandiosen Ausblick auf den Vesuv und ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt um Pompei zu besichtigen. Wir waren auf der Durchreise, Ende Mai für eine Nacht dort.

Im Aussenbereich störten die Autobahngeräusche, wobei man vor der Villa wirklich sehr schön sitzt. Der Balkon zu unserem Zimmer war nicht mehr wie ein Stehbalkon (winzig). Das Frühstück im Vergleich zu anderen Häusern (wir waren auf einer 2Wochen Rundreise mit 10 Unterkünften) war unter Durschnitt

Mooi ingerichte en zeer ruime kamer in een stijlvol pand met een prachtig uitzicht op de Vesuvius (indien kamer aan de voorzijde).

Er was aanvankelijk verwarring over de boeking. Dit werd uiteindelijk rechtgezet door Arturo. Doordat de prachtige kamer op de zon lag was het er warm bij aankomst en bleek uiteindelijk slechts beperkt te koelen met de airco, die mogelijk stuk was want ook een verschrikkelijk lawaai maakte. Het laatste was helaas wel dusdanig dat het onze nachtrust gekost heeft, maar ongetwijfeld zal dit euvel snel verholpen worden. Misschien nog een tip voor de accommodatie: voeg naast enkel een laken de mogelijkheid tot extra (licht) beddengoed toe. (Vanwege de ontregelde airco met deuren open geslapen en toen was het dunne laken alleen te koud).

Arturo was a fabulous host. The beautiful Italian villa is his family home and he rents out rooms on the top floor to guests. He recommended an amazing restaurant, La Torretta, a short walk away and even gave us a lift back to the centre of Pagani.
