"Lovely place to stay friendly neighbours perfect"

8.0

Was a lovely situation with garden backing on to the heath. Near sea and great amenities

Like the cottage. Toilet seat was a bit loose and kitchen tiles were a bit of need of repair. Otherwise everything we needed for a lovely stay

"Very enjoyable visit to the destination and everything was as we had expected it to be. No hesitation going back to the"

9.0

Good location near the beach and in a quiet area.

A couple more fans would have been nice to keep cool during the hot weather we had but not a complaint just would be better if this was available 👍

"Overpriced for condition of house, car bottoms out when accessing and leaving property."

5.0

Rear garden was good with direct access to heathland walks.

It was very cold, throughout house. The down stairs bathroom was situated in what would have been previously a coal house/side toilet. There is rust stains on heated towel rails. Kitchen tiled floors are cracked and broken and they continue to break when you walk in or through it.The stairs are narrow thread and descend steeply. Overpriced

"A cosy stay in a great location."

8.0

Excellent location within walking distance of the beach and a great local pub. A cosy, comfy cottage, with a great garden for the dog.

Although there was plenty of hot water for the shower, there was no hot water to the bathroom sink or kitchen sink. The location of the bathroom wasn't ideal but it didn't spoil our stay.

"We felt very relaxed here and off all the points mentioned were rectified I’d give it a 10."

8.0

Lovely quiet location, comfy cosy and warm cottage. Pleasant neighbours and good parking, nice size garden for our dog with direct access to the common and the grazing ponies. The kitchen was well equipped including tea towels, oven gloves, cleaning supplies and equipment. We were pleasantly surprised how clean the property was considering pets are allowed. No problem getting key from the key safe by the front door. A lovely place to relax close to the beach and walks.

The kitchen cupboards need updating with some not closing very well. Although the electric radiators worked really well, we decided to turn them down and use the log burner in the lounge for a more cosy feel and to save energy. We noticed the seals need renewing and the ash tray at the bottom hadn’t been emptied, it was better once we had emptied it but I think it would have burned more efficiently if the seals were replaced. Only one toilet roll was supplied but luckily we brought our own. The bathroom is downstairs which didn’t bother us but worth considering.

"Relaxing, good location."

9.0

The house was well stocked with items, but missing the welcome pack (milk etc) that we have gotten at other places. The location is great, and the neighbours were nice, given they must see lots of people coming through. There is a local store with limited opening hours in the winter months, but its got 99% of what you need. If you like walks of up to 2 hours there is lots you can get to. The pub is around 15-mins walk, social club is around 8 mins away. We would book again.

The shower was a little temperamental, and it took a lot of playing around to get it set to a temp where it didn't trip out and go cold or just lukewarm.
