Maison Blanche Taormina

L’emplacement magnifique, la spontanéité et la gentillesse de la propriétaire, sa façon très carrée de gérer ses hôtes.

La rapport qualité prix qui peut sembler un peu élevé mais justifié sans doute par rapport à l’emplacement . Mais la veille avons dormi dans un palais aux prestations top à Noto avec un petit déjeuner en terrasse dont on se souviendra longtemps … et pour un prix moindre

We stayed two nights at Maison Blanche and everything was simply wonderful. Giovanna welcomed us like long-awaited guests and made us feel at home from the very first moment, not only at the B&B but also in Taormina, thanks to her great recommendations on how to get around (a very convenient 10-minute uphill walk via stairs), where to eat, and what to see. The room was perfect: bright, spotless, cozy, and with an absolutely amazing view, and the breakfasts were delicious. What I especially loved is that the place is filled with antique furniture, which gives it a sense of family history and makes it feel like something much more special than just a B&B. We truly wished we could have stayed longer!

Giovanna and her husband were wonderful hosts. The room was cozy and had everything we needed. Giovanna made very helpful suggestions for navigating the city. As well as restaurants and activities. She and provided the most delicious breakfast with our eggs made just the way we liked each morning. Lots of fresh fruit, pastries, meat and cheese. Special coffees made just to our taste! We felt like king and queen during our entire stay. She organized a taxi to the train station that arrived promptly and was very new and comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience during our stay in Taormina!

The bed could have been a little firmer.

The views from the property are the best you can have. We woke up with beautiful sunrise views from our bed. Giovana our host is a kind and generous lady. Always available and happy to help. She organised our special requirements for our breakfast. If we visit sicily again we ll surely stay here

Missed having body lotion as part of the toiletries. but not a big one. There was nothing to not like. Would happily stay here again

Firstly, Maison Blanche is in a gorgeous location with beautiful sea views and a short 10 minute walk into Taormina along the winding road for 3 minutes, then 7 minutes up a series of stairs. Not bad if you're in shape, but could be difficult if you have mobility issues. Of course, you could drive but it was much more scenic to walk. Next - Giovanna treated us like family. My husband was sick with bronchitis and barely sleeping due to coughing, so Giovanna arranged for him to see her family doctor, who prescribed medication. This was extremely helpful, and we are grateful to her for doing this. Our room was large, clean, and comfortable with a terrace for sitting outside with views of the ocean. There are very nice shades that keep the sun out in the early morning so you can sleep in if needed. Breakfast was fantastic! There was a large variety of fresh fruit, yogurt, eggs, breads, cake, and of course espresso drinks. We found two lovely restaurants in Taormina that we enjoyed: Mamma Rosa Trattoria, and Il Baccanale. The house wines were excellent at both of these, and the food was prepared perfectly. If you're a tennis player, be sure to check out the beautiful clay courts as you step off the walking path from Via S. Leo onto Via Bagnoli Croce. I would have loved to play tennis on them. We would definitely return to Maison Blanche for a longer visit. Our stay was wonderful in every way (especially the digestifs available to serve yourself in the evening).

Property is excellent. Well kept, clean. Exceptional facility. Well kept and fully equipped. Location is peaceful and directly open to the ocean view. We enjoyed the daily sun rise. Host is warm, welcoming and she takes care of all details to ensure guests well attended. Breakfast if exceptional and complete. Would rate a score 11 or 12 over 10.
