This place has so much soul and energy and it's worth a visit to Kazuno if you want hidden gem authentic Japan and lots of snow. Loved every second

It was a little cold, but the heating was perfectly fine - it's a nice of home with lots of personality.

Lots of room, a whole different vibe than a hotel. Host was very accommodating when it came to checking in a little early. much appreciated.

Was hoping for more interaction with other guests and host. (My trip was centered around language immersion.)

Super spacious and comfortable room. Really wanted to stay longer but had to take the first Hanawa Line train😭😭

The reception messages and notes ensured that the host wanted the guests to be welcome even in her absence and make one feel at ease with the new surroundings. The host was very friendly, helpful and made us feel at home.

Wooden Staircase to the upper lodging rooms were a bit narrow and steep but manageable.
