River Villas Hiroshima

Location was very good, mostly quiet even with the postal centre across the road and not too far to walk into the centre of Hiroshima and the peace park. Plenty of room and space in the main living area to spend time planning, eating etc. It is a nice place when you are there during the day or evening. Building was easy to access.

The beds - uncomfortable, the quilts were too narrow and worst of all the bottom sheet was not big enough and kept coming untucked. I slept with my partner on one of the beds and the edge of the mattress wasn't firm enough, giving me a tendancy to roll off the bed. Getting fitted sheets would stop the sheet coming off all the time, and a quilt one size larger would have also been useful for two people sleeping in the one bed. Also - the exit sign in the room lit it up like daytime at night. Ultimately our sleep was poor, and when you sleep badly it affects the rest of your day. This was the most significant reason for a lower rating. Also the working area in the tiny kitchenette made it very cumbersome to arrange meals, wash up etc.

Clean and comfortable stay for a family of 4. Great location and easy check in procedure via the app. I would recommend

Great location, near peace park, transport and walking distance to Hondori. Lots of space for my family of 4.

This accomodation easily has one of the best values for your money if you are a group of people staying in Hiroshima. The room was extremely spacious and clean, and the included washing machine was also very helpful. While the hotel is quite far from Hiroshima, it can easily be accessed with one bus from there, and this is made up for by its proximity to the Peace Park and the cost effectiveness of the room. The Fire TV stick was also a nice touch (albeit it was not clear which services we had access to, since many did not work... more clarification on this would be helpful).

This place would have been an easy 10/10 if not for the fact that the frames of one of the beds was completely broken (which I realized when it collapsed the second I lied down on it...). While there were visible attempts at repairs, it clearly was not well done. I would like to give the owner the benefit of the doubt about this issue and assume this was a fluke, as they were very apologetic when I reached out about it and the rest of the experience was so good overall (plus, there were other places to sleep in the room).

This 6th floor (top floor) apartment is well equipped including a washing machine (although no iron), cooking area, and large TV. It is one large room with two sofa beds, 3 beds and cooking area together with a balcony. There isn’t much of a view so you tend to leave the blinds drawn closed. Sleeping eye pads are provided because at night the whole room is lit by the green and white emergency sign hanging by the escape door to the right of the TV. We found the location very convenient for teaching both north and south of the city.

The property was spacious and really well located.

The blinds aren’t ideal but we appreciate the provision of eye masks to help with that issue.
