CHNice cottage in a small village, excellent starting point for Cotswolds excursions. Quiet surrounding, kitchen has everything one needs and everything is clean and well maintained.
Cute little cottage. Not too fancy, but definitely does the trick. Make sure to make note of your check-in instructions (code to the lock box for the key) before you arrive as cell service is very spotty and no access to wifi until you enter the unit. Nice neighbourhood. 45 minute walk to bourton on the water.

The shower was very slow , could do with a bit of modernising. Also beware that this property is only suitable for people with a very small car, as there is a resident here who is an unpaid car park attendant!!!!!

Stairs did not have a handrail and had a 180degree turn, for 2 people in their late 70's they were insurmountable. None of this was mentioned in the details for the property. For someone disabled they would not have been able to use the bedroom or toilet. Property deliberately misrepresented in my opinion. Heating not working. Although info file said there were instructions none could be found.
GBGreat location in walking distance to bourton on the water. The cottage is very cute and cosy, we stayed for 3 nights which was fine but don't think it would be suitable for people looking to stay for a week.
As other reviews have said the parking is less than ideal. When we turned up there was a car parked in the allocated space so we had to park in a different space, when they did get back and we asked them to move they weren't happy even though it was the space allocated to the cottage. When we were in the space it is very tight, bigger cars wouldn't be able to fit. I can also see things in previous reviews that haven't been addressed - the shower door is loose so has to be picked up and shifted rather than side. The sofa isn't very comfortable, and there is no gate on the front to create an enclosed space for the dog so had to be taken out on a lead every time. These feel like easy fixes that would make the space a lot more comfortable and the experience a lot better!
GBLocation was perfect for a less that 5 minute drive into Bourton on the Water. 20 minutes to Diddly Squat and 15 minutes to the Cotswold Wildlife Park. Also, lovely walks with the dog. Hosts left us milk and cookies which was a nice thought.
Unfortunately, the shower door was off it's hinges and so a bit awkward to use. As the rest of the place was so spotless, I would say the host was unaware so I left them a note.
GBThe quaintness of the cottage & its location. Its in a small village with very little through traffic, but very easy access to the main roads in the are. Location seemed to be central for all attractions.
