Inn at Tamarind Court

The staff was very friendly, the room was very clean. The outside of the facility was very run down, does not look like the photo in the ad. Anywhere there was concrete or stone, it was in need of paint and repair. The room was simple and spare, but very clean. Was at times noisy due to being right on a very busy street. The location was convenient to walking downtown and the National Park. No places to sit outside unless it was when guests were not eating, then you could use the tables in the little courtyard. The food was good and reasonable. We only stayed there to be able to walk to the National Park and not rent a car. If you are not expecting a resort or luxury accommodations, it would be fine for a few days. You need transportation to get to the beaches, unless you are a good walker.

Couldn't have been happier with this modest property. No frills room, with great staff for support. Food was excellent, the restaurant/bar hours were a bit limited, but there are plenty of other options in the area. Really enjoyed the local vibe.

In my hotel room, I noticed dust on the furniture and the floor wasn't clean, requiring me to tidy up. Additionally, there was a persistent, unpleasant, humid smell that made it difficult to breathe initially. I had to refresh the room for a day to make it more tolerable, suspecting the issue might be related to the air conditioning.

Tamarind inn reflex the island of Saint Johns, with its laid back feel, Enjoyed the breakfast in the court yard. Located in town so easy to walk from Ferry docs or to restaurants or shops. Also has parking for those with a car.

We spent four lovely days at the Tamarind Court If your looking for a chill vibe this location definitely for you. The rooms are newly renovated clean and comfortable. The restaurant food was really good and reasonable for St John’s prices, the staff was friendly and very helpful. The location is perfect if you choose not to rent a car it being a short walk from the ferry dock. We choose to rent from the airport on St Thomas parking is free.
