Fantastic location with an incredible host who gave us some incredible tips to maximise our time in Genoa. Felt like we had the locals inside information!

Nothing, the apartment, location and host where perfecf

This is definitely a special place. Besides its convenient central location, every detail in the apartment is well thought out. Nothing extra, yet everything you need for comfort. The vibe of the towers and ancient walls blends beautifully with cozy design touches, and the view from the windows is stunning. The apartment is right in the city center, yet it’s quiet, no street noise, at least on a regular weekday. Finding it was easy too: despite the unusual entrance to the tower, Eliana’s instructions are so clear it’s hard to get lost.

The only downside is the mattresses, we’re used to firmer ones, but that’s just a matter of taste. It was also easy to move into our apartment with any luggage, but if you stay on the upper floor, carrying large suitcases might be a bit more difficult.

Amazing views and historical spot!

The place was gorgeous, and while the keys could have been difficult to explain and hand over, Eliana made the whole thing an ABSOLUTE pleasure! She welcomed us at the door, explained everything perfectly, gave us some advice for local attractions, and made us feel right at home. The apartment was cozy, with such great personality.

That we were only there for one night! Definitely a place worth a few evenings.

Eliana, my hostess, was extremely personable and was with me every step of the way, calling, texting and then there on arrival to walk me through use of the numerous keys to access the appartment. For someone travelling alone, I found this very reassuring. The apartment was absolutely charming - very rustic and inkeeping with the era of the building. There were numerous windows with spectacular views over the city and harbour (you could see the big cruise ships when they were docked) and the lights at night were beautiful (the regular pulsing flash of the lighthouse was so special).

There was nothing I would change about my experience in this charming accommodation. Eliana was extremely attentive and nothing was a problem for her. She even told me I could call her at anytime of the day or night for any reason and I felt completely safe and very well looked after during the entirety of my stay. I extended my stay an additional night as a result and I would return to this place in a heartbeat!
