The Colour Hostel

I liked that I had my own little pod and it wasn’t busy.

The toilet was terribly maintained, the toilet paper bin constantly overflowing. Unsure why this couldn’t be changed more often as there was always lots of staff around.

Overall I think it’s was good for me.

The location is near to restaurants, waterfront, and other city landmarks.

The shower room is small and the drainage is not good. The hostel seems less maintenance.

This is really affordable, friendly staff, central location. I like they provided filtered water.

Whilst there was a language barrier the staff made an effort to help with my enquiries. The dorm rooms weee quiet and bunk beds private

The location. On a super busy road

I have read the reviews for this hostel and I disagree with all negative ones. This hostel, for the price, is fantastic. The staff are friendly and so helpful, the common room is set up with tables and chairs, fans to keep you cool and free coffee, tea and water. The showers are powerful and hot and if you need to cook, there is a kitchen, but with the amount of cheap restaurants, why would you. The location is in the city centre and I walked everywhere to see the sights, grab taxis are cheap if you don’t want walk. I had planned to go to a hotel after one night (if I didn’t like it) but stayed for 3 nights.

To me there was nothing negative. It was better than the hotel I was staying in on my first night which was dirty, uncomfortable and not good.
