Well, I liked EVERYTHING about this property! The place looks like a Swiss chalet with exposed wood beams - it’s simply breathtaking! I had a private room and it was huge, beautifully decorated, bed and linens were so comfortable and soft, a huge amount of storage space was available and one had a lovely sitting chair. The bathroom/shower had hot water and was sparking clean. The room also had windows in both the shower and the main room that could be opened for airflow. The property also has multiple, beautifully decorated and comfortable sitting areas on both floors and a kitchen that is spotless with modern appliances and tools. I liked that’s it’s located out of the central area, but within a few blocks. The included breakfast is incredibly delicious and is served in an open air part of the property that overlooks a garden. The caretaker is a gracious woman who makes sure all your needs and concerns are addressed. She is the true jewel of this property! The stay in this property was a definitely the highlight of my time in Colombo!
