Hotel Kailani

It was the last hotel available on the island during our stay. It’s clean and staff are friendly.

We stayed 2 nights and there wasn’t room cleaning (I expected at least that the trash can could be emptied). The toilet of our room smelled really bad (seems to be problem of the sewer). The food (both breakfast and diner) was ok but doesn’t really worth what we paid. It’s quite far from everything on the island, difficult to go anywhere without a car.

スタッフさんに親切にしていただき、快適な滞在でした。ありがとうございました！ 週末だったので、夜のバー営業があり利用させてもらいました。そこで翌日の島の方たちを招いての食事会？イベント？を教えていただき、混ぜてもらいました。思いがけず島の方たちとも交流する機会ができ、楽しい思い出となりました。 お部屋はシンプルで清潔でした。お部屋はシャワーのみですが、夕方〜夜は大浴場が利用できました。ランドリーも洗剤を購入するのみで無料で利用可能。

町から離れているため、ややアクセスが悪い。一方で近くに美味しいレストランもあり、ホテルもスタッフも申し分なかった。

Walking distance to Habu Port and some eating places. Staff was friendly and the omakase style dinner with 6 dishes from the hotel chef was made with fresh and quality ingredients. A good experience. Do ask for the price for dinner as we had booked not knowing that it was a standard cost per pax.

The advertised swimming pool was not filled and the room was basic, more like a chalet than a hotel. Bed was essentially a futon on a very hard mattress, quite uncomfortable. The old plastic kettle caused our drinking water to have a strange taste and after changing to another kettle the next day did we realise it was due to the kettle. Thank you to staff for acting promptly on our feedback and changing the kettle.

部屋はきれいで使いやすいと思います。こちらは島にあるため、コンビニがなく周辺のお店も早くに終わるのは仕方ないのですが、ホテル内施設に飲み物の自販機が1つあるだけなので、せめてカップラーメンの自販機だけでもあると嬉しい。あと、共同で良いので電子レンジがあると良かった。

夕食、朝食ともに味も量もとても良かった。
