North Creek Lodge at Gore Mountain

It wasn’t a lodge! It wasn’t in North Creek, and it wasn’t at Gore mountain! There was no soap in bathroom, toilet roll dispenser was broken, bath towels were thin and falling apart. Only one washcloth, and didn’t replace towels and washcloths in morning, never cleaned room during the day either.

Positive side, the room was big and clean. I liked that it's a little remote from the main city. Negative side, the personnel is so-so friendly. The food, espacially the breakfast was horrible. It's got to be the worst continental breakfast I ate in my life. No bread, no jam, no peanut butter. The milk tasted terrible. The furniture in the room was falling apart. Wi-fi was struggling for streaming. For the price I paid, I was expecting a LOT better.

We were near the end unit & we kept our windows open at night because there was no AC. We were able to hear every car that passed by during the night.

Comfy rustic inn staffed by truly kind people. At the foot of Gore Mountain, in NY's beautiful Adirondacks.

Standard room 5 minutes from Gore Mountain which was super convenient. Priced right! Continental breakfast included in what kind of feels like a campground. Breakfast was pretty basic but fine! (ex. English muffins, Thomas's bagels, cereal, coffee/tea, blueberries & strawberries). It was a nice option that there was a bar in the lodge and restaurant (we didn't eat there). We came in late on a Friday/early Saturday morning & she left the key outside the room for us. Only complaint was there was super loud music going on until after 3:00 in the morning but since we got in so late it didn't bother us. End of the season party I suppose.

The staff is very friendly and attentive. The location was perfect for a short trip to watch the eclipse. Tbe food in the restaurant isvery good.

Melissa did absolutely every possible thing to make our stay perfect short of maybe actually walking our dog for us. Just one example: We misjudged the time of breakfast and missed it and she went and got a whole spread of bagels, muffins, cream cheese and more just so we could have something to eat! Absolutely wonderful.

The lodge was perfect - clean - friendly staff and a great breakfast!!!

Easy check in, clean rooms. Would recommend for a nice close stay to Gore Mtn.
