Summerhill Guest Farm

I loved the farm setting and the beautiful views. The gardens are open for walking around and they are absolutely stunning. Loved the fact that the resident dogs are friendly and my dog had some friends to play with.

A little out of town and I hadn't brought any food with me. Would be nice to have an option to buy a frozen meal from the hosts so that you don't have to drive into town.

I did not feel safe amongst a lot of drunk males that were also staying there, we wanted to swim on the 25 Dec but could not as there was no security and i had 3 girls with me.

Such a welcoming place to stay, the gardens are beautiful, the animals filled a place in our hearts as we were missing our own. It was our first time seeing a Zonkey (Coco Pops), and a special mention to Jessie, who slept at our door every night and greeted us every morning for be Breakfast. Bob and Wendy were both lovely, and Bob always had a story to tell. We were able to have family visit and entertain them with a braai by the pool.

Nothing not to like about there lovely guest farm

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this delightful guesthouse on a small farm in the Winelands, and it was an unforgettable experience! The stunning views of the mountains provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights was interacting with the farm animals—a zonkey, a pony, and even rescued tortoises, which we enjoyed feeding daily. It truly added a special touch to our stay! The hospitality of the hosts was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Farmer Bob’s freshly collected eggs made for the most delicious breakfasts, and Wendy went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable throughout our extended stay. The entire staff was friendly and always willing to lend a helping hand. This charming guesthouse was the ideal escape from our busy city lives. We’re incredibly thankful to the hosts for sharing their little piece of paradise with us. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a serene and unique retreat.

The gardens were absolutely beautiful and lush and the owners, Wendy and Bob, could not have been more welcoming. Our labradoodle was made to feel very welcome too and was able to run freely and safely on the property. We also enjoyed a walk around after Wendy had explained what there was to see on the property. Our accommodation was very clean, neat and pretty. There was a full bathroom with bath and shower.

The queen-sized bed was a little hard for my husband due to his recent back operation, but it did not matter as there were two other beds to choose from in the same room, so he was comfortable. There was nothing that we did not like.

Lovely tranquil environment. Beautiful gardens, i think heaven must feel something like this…. Comfortable room with all the amenities needed
