The Jungle Villa

Mon coup de cœur sur Bali. Le personnel est adorable et réactif. Nous avons même eu une petite surprise pour notre anniversaire de mariage. Le petit déjeuner est succulent. Et surtout les bambou House sont magnifiques. La jungle qui vous entoure vous fait clairement oublier que vous êtes à Ubud. Vous serez réveillés par le chant des oiseaux et non par les scooters. Important, il s’agit tout de même d’Ubud donc il y aura de la circulation pour s’y rendre. Et les voitures ne se garent pas à l’hôtel. Elles se garent sur un parking et le personnel vient vous chercher en scooter avec vos bagages. Les enfants ont adoré. L’hotel ne fait pas restaurant mais vous en aurez deux à deux minutes à pied de l’hôtel. La piscine est nichée au creux de la jungle, nous aurions aimé y passer plus de temps.

Garden unmaintained. All the villas we were shown were damp. Old mattresses. The wooden steps were rotten through. On an upstairs superior studio the access hand rail was rotten through along with two steps. Scary climb. The bathrooms were dark. We were shown 5 villas in an attempt to locate one that would lock. Unfortunately this was not possible. The last villa we were shown the manager, a woman rose from the bed-smoking a cigarette-we were then offered this villa to stay in. We left to find secure clean accommodation. This should not be on booking for com.

The cabins were very cozy and the pool surrounded by lush green was a highlight! Good breakfast and welcoming staff. I will come back every time I go to Ubud.

Overall experience with Jungle villa was pretty bad. I will not recommond this property for a family specially if travelling with kids. To start with - its a challenge to reach to the property which is located very far from the car park and you relay on rented bike and take turns for every time you have to out and repeat the process to comeback. Villas are not clean and we couldn't use ground floor bed as it had ants all over it. very limited supply of water in the bathroom, proper guy told us that it will be fixed but no one bothered to resolve the issue until our stay.
