As some other comments mentioned, yes the road is narrow and may be dangerous provided that you are a beginner. If you have experience with motorbike, there will be no problem, even with 2 people and large bag on one bike. Overall the stay was good, clean, nice workers, nice view and mostly… calm, very calm, the hostel is at the end of the road.

Can’t complain so far, just be careful when it’s raining, the hostel’s tiles can be very slippery

The lift on the back of the bike from the main street on arrival was fun! The villa is beautifully located in the middle of the ricefields , quiet, peaceful, blissful away from noisy, busy Ubud centre. Yet only 20 minute pleasant walk to the hubbub. Nice eating places in the ricefields. Cooked breakfast was generous. Room immaculate, staff very helpful, very friendly & responsive.

Just one thing, some fruit for breakfast would be nice.

We loved it so much we extended our stay for a full week. Incredible value for money. Amazing location really set back from the busyness of Ubud in beautiful rice fields. The room was huge with a fantastic balcony and a fridge and kettle. The breakfast was also great and the staff very friendly. Just be prepared that no cars can access this hotel so you'll either need to organise pick up with the hotel or rent a scooter from Shanti Scooter rentals at the bottom of the hill (they were excellent)

Prachtig gelegen in de rijstvelden ver van al het verkeer. Prima kamer met prachtig uitzicht, douche met aan twee kanten ramen waardoor je het idee hebt dat je midden in de rijstvelden staat.. Mooi balkon, ook met uitzicht. Prima ontbijt., enigzins klein zwembad opgesloten tussen de muren waardoor het wat benauwd aanvoelt, hier helaas geen uitzicht. Fijn wandelen tussen de rijstvelden, diepe kloven en oerwoud gevoel. In de omgeving zijn goede restaurantjes en warungs te vinden.

Juwuk Manus ligt midden in de rijstvelden en dat is ook meteen een handicap. Er gaat een smal pad naartoe, alleen geschikt voor ervaren scooter rijders, dat steeds smaller en slechter wordt. Aan het eind rij je over een smal muurtje waar stuurmanskunst echt nodig is. Lopen gaat wel prima (overdag). Je wordt opgehaald bij de Starbucks en achterop een scooter ga je naar het hotel. Verder groot nadeel is dat er helemaal niets te krijgen is Er staat weliswaar " zwembad met bar" maar dat is onzin er is helemaal niets te krijgen, nog geen biertje. Je moet dus een rot eind lopen om bij een winkel te komen. ( Of het lef hebben om op een scooter te rijden) Verder is het personeel erg op zichzelf en maakt weinig contact, waarschijnlijk een taalprobleem. En als laatste, de hoofdweg waar Starbucks aan ligt is een chaos, je kunt nauwelijks stoppen om uit - en in te stappen. Een plek dus met een uitdaging, maar wel de moeite waard.

Stunning location set in the rice paddy, but still a short bike ride into the heart of Ubud. The balcony view was of lush plants, very private.

If go with scooter can be little difficult to get there, must go thru small roads and messi market, but it's nice adventure

A great, quiet place surrounded by rice fields-really beautiful and peaceful. The staff was nice and offered bike rentals and laundry service.

Keep in mind that it's in the middle of nowhere, so you'd better have a bike to get around. However, the road to the hotel is very narrow and completely dark at night. The breakfast quality was a bit low for me.
