Bedroom was great and cleaned well

It was very run down outside needs to be upgraded no were to have a coffee / beer at the rear of the hotel , breakfast was poor a lone toaster in the dinning room for all guests is hardly 4 star , the bar was very poor , the owner seem to treat it like it’s their home roaming around the place , two toilets in the lobby had out of order signs on but they were not OO / order this was just so we didn’t use them,

A nice hotel with excellent facilities and an excellent location on the beach. I appreciate the possibility of parking in the hotel area. Excellent breakfast and dinner. Professional and very friendly staff in the dining room and at the reception who were able to give advice. Comfortable bed.

We were a little surprised that you have to pay for sunbeds on the beach (€25 for a sunbed in the first row, €20 in the others). No service, coffee, water on the beach... probably because it was already mid-September and after the main season.

Breakfast was very disappointing, low quality and choice :-( And at the end, they did not fill up everything. Also the breakfast staff was not so attentive.

Super location for rest & relaxation. Hotel is family run. Davide & reception staff super to deal with. Aranela was very accommodating in adding an extra night to our stay. Beach ⛱️ access from hotel and 15 mins walk to Port Censaro centre. Good breakfast 😋 Lunch available on site - small bar for a drink. Highly recommend this hotel 🏨

Hotel Blu is set on the beahfront. The beach is sandy & lovely - We went for May half term (UK end of May) and the water temp was lovely so we were in the sea everyday. We would buy our lunch from the hotel bar (panini and drink - can't go wrong on a hot summer day). The hotel was quiet, however we did encounter their independance day, whereby the hotel & beach was packed. We then would get ready in the evening and walk into the town center (20 min walk with an 8yr child) to chose from all the lovely resturants to eat. The hotel staff were lovely, we could hardly speak Italian but the Nonno and my son would have Ciao conversations which was hilarious. Things to be aware of (I was aware as I read trip advisor comments). Towels, and sunbeds are extra, but given I get a clean towel everyday I didn't mind the extra cost of this. You need to book your sunbed/umbrella at reception to ensure there is no-one else hogging early in the morning (I love this approach). If I wish to visit Puglia again, I will be sure to stay at Hotel Blu again. The room we had was a triple room and the beds were comfty, the size of the room was good, and the size of the bathroom (shower) was a good size.

Clean, spacious, free parking, free breakfast, water front, clean beach, plenty of seating, walking distance to city center, boardwalk and docking of boats, friendly staff. Awesome sunsets! I would recommend this hotel.
