Envoy Hostel and Tours

Very social and super easy to meet other travelers, even during the off-season when the rooftop bar was closed.

Like everyone else said, the hill to get there is quite steep, but you do get used to it. The six bed dorm was quite spacious, but I do wish the beds were more comfortable and had curtains!

Great hostel lovely staff and felt very comfortable here we extended 2 times, the roof top bar is the absolute highlight! Also great location aswell

Besonders gut hat mir die zentrale Lage gefallen, ebenso wie die 24hrs Reception. So konnte ich auch in der Nacht problemlos einchecken. Ebenfalls gefallen hat mir, dass es verschiedene Bäder gab und Toiletten und Duschen getrennt waren. Desweitern ist der Gepäcklagerservice ein grosses Plus für die Unterkunft.

Die Zimmertür hat geklemmt, was es schwierig machte Nachts leise das Zimmer zu verlassen oder zurück zu kommen.

Chekin, it was at 2:00 pm but I reached at 6:30 am so he charged me 30 GL to let me checkin early otherwise I have to wait until 2:00 pm The Blanket is very old

The kitchen was well equipped and accessible. Location was great and the views from the bedroom balcony were fabulous. The rooftop bar had good vibes and was reasonably priced.

The room was quite cold and the duvets were very light. They could ideally do with more bathrooms on each floor. The staff could have been more welcoming.

The hostel is right in the old town with a wonderful rooftop Bar. Everything is very clean and they offer great tours all over Georgia and Armenia.

If you are a light sleeper, you might want to bring earplugs. The walls are thin and people come down from the roof top bar in the middle of the night

מיקום מרכזי, בלב העיר העתיקה של טביליסי. הוסטל נוח, נקי, הצוות אדיב ונכון לעזור. יש למטה מטבח משותף לשימוש האורחים, למעלה, על הגג, יש תצפית על העיר העתיקה ופאב שפתוח בערב, עד 12, בימים ללא גשם. מספקים גם שירותי כביסה. בקבלה מציעים גם טורים ברחבי גיאורגיה. לא ניסיתי.

ההגעה למקום ממרכז העיר העיקה כרוכה בעליה קצרה אך תלולה ומעייפת. אין כמעט אופציה לחדשים פרטיים. יש להם שניים שלושה כאילו, ולרוב הם תפוסים.

The rooftop terrace is by far the highlight of this hostel — it offers a stunning panoramic view over Tbilisi and is a great place to meet other solo travellers in the evenings. The location is excellent too, right in the heart of Old Tbilisi and within walking distance of major sights, cafés, and sulphur baths. Overall, Envoy was the best of the three hostels I stayed at in Tbilisi (compared to Fabrika and Elia Boutique), mainly thanks to the social vibe and unbeatable terrace. If you’re a solo traveller looking for a central, sociable spot with a great view, Envoy is a solid choice — just don’t expect luxury or too much flexibility.

What I didn’t like is that the mattresses were quite thin and uncomfortable, and the blanket provided wasn’t warm enough — I found myself feeling cold at night, even in early autumn. The staff are a mixed bag. Some nicer/more helpful than others. It was disappointing they wouldn’t accommodate an early check-in despite empty beds available. It seems like they couldn’t be bothered. I would say considering what you could get it’s priced on the higher side so not the best value for money.
