Cahermaclanchy House

Loved the room, it was clean and the house was beautiful, bed was comfy and the area was beautiful. Shower was great.

As we were in the middle of nowhere and had travelled by plane and taxi, it would have been good if we had more coffee, milk and tea provided and a fridge as we only had enough milk for 1 coffee on the first night of our stay. Taxis were not available that were suggested in the welcome book and no takeaways available (not the lodges fault though). Also there was no iron and we were there for a wedding so clothes remained creased much to our dismay.

Calm and peaceful setting, super clean and comfortable with thoughtful amenities and details. Just a hop and skip from all that Doolin has to offer. Complete with ponies and the ocean out the window!

Very basic facilities for the price

The location to cliffs of Mohr and doolin was very convenient. It was clean.

We could hear everyone else staying in the home. We felt like we had to be very quiet and not make noise. The rooms were very close and tight.

No breakfast. Martin said it was a waste of his time.

Martin, the host was rude. He ran out of hot water and blamed it on other guests. He had the room to serve breakfast at his B&B and said it wasn’t worth his time. The bed had 8-10 hairs on bed and he blamed the dryer.

The apartment we stayed in was new and in great condition. It had everything we needed and more. It was convenient to local pubs and sites we wanted to visit. It was easy to work with the owner and make arrangements. I would book it again with no hesitation.
