Old Town Venetian Studio by CorfuEscapes

Great quiet location a minutes walk from Hounda centre in old Corfu town. Very well appointed n clean studio apartment. Small bathroom. Plus outdoor courtyard. Lots of thoughtful touches.

Great to have front loading washing machine but would be helpful to have some simple instructions in English. Also note it’s a small sit down bath tub with hand held shower.

very central location to the old town. clean and tidy and well equipped

no windows or natural light. felt dark and a bit damp - towel’s couldn’t dry out after showers or swimming. difficult to find at night. dirty and unkept walk ways and alleys leading to property.

Everything about this property was amazing! It's a beautiful space, well equipped with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. It has a lovely courtyard and is so conveniently situated for all the sights and attractions of Corfu town. I have to mention George, who was fantastic. His warm, friendly and hospitable manner was exceptional. Walking with us to the property, explaining all the features and generally giving fantastic customer service. He is an asset to the company. We wish were could have stayed longer.

Very helpful and thoughtful hosts, they prepared a list of places to visit and left water, juice, coffee and tea as a compliment. The studio is beautifully furnished and well equipped. The location is amazing - two steps from the old town and yet in a very calm and quiet spot. The patio is a nice plus !

Since the studio is on the ground floor, it's very humid. We stayed for two nights only so it was bearable but keep that in mind if you have any health problems.

The company managing the property contacted us the morning before check in, telling us that they overbooked the apartment. They said we cannot stay there the first night, and offered a another location for the first night, and that they move us the second day. We saw the new apartment, which was of similar quality and location, and asked them to stay there both nights, to which they agreed. So I haven't seen the apartment for which I am writing this review. The place where we stayed was very nice. However, we slept very badly, because of the neighbors who were very loud until the morning; I believe that the neighbors stayed with the same company.
