I really enjoyed drinking a piccolo (made with the coffee machine provided by the casa) on the balcony and enjoying the views. The casa is within the sassi and not far from the ‘main shopping street’. When we left Matera we would down the road in the Sassi and a taxi dropped us off at the bus station so we didn’t have to walk up the stairs with our suitcases.

We didn’t receive a message from the owner that the room was available, however everything else was great. The owner also organised a taxi and was a really nice guy.
