The staff is extremely friendly and the food is simple but good, with fresh omelettes on request for breakfast. The building is beautiful and rooms are large enough and nicely decorated. The driver arranged by the owner for us was good and very friendly.

I'm not sure this is the case for all rooms, but ours (looking out on the courtyard) was extremely noisy, to the point I even had trouble sleeping with earplugs. Because there is only a thin window separating the room from the street, we were disturbed by barking dogs and honking trains. We did not expect this, since the location is far from the centre and not very practical for sightseeing. The room was not very clean: hairs on the sheets, stains on the towels, spots in the bathroom that were not cleaned. The WiFi was not very reliable and using YouTube or Netflix on the TV was impossible. Dinner was good, but too expensive. We were even charged for some water that we had to ask for as this was not refilled in the room during our stay (since the room was also not cleaned during our stay). This is maybe a small point, but reflects the below average value for money you get.

The staff and the owner Mr. Dilip along with his family are managing the property very well. The hospitality was very nice.

Please avoid sight seeing booking or any cab booking directly from the hotel.
