Weipa Motel Resort

Clean and great location. Staff have been great and kept in touch in lead up to stay.

Breakfast is the only issue, nothing within the resort and nothing near by. It would be nice if they could offer some breakfast solution.

Room was good size and modern. Shower was nice.

The motel did not provide a cooked breakfast, just a "continental pack" that could be pre-purchased. We didn't. The restaurant was not open. Rooms were not serviced daily. Furnishings in room were adequate but basic, akin to what you would expect in a cheap motel. Air-conditioning was not on for arrival and key required to keep running. So every time you went out you came back to hot room. Would be unbearable in summer. Staff were pleasant enough but reception did not really want to see us preferring not see you for check in or check out. Cleaning staff were helpful with missing items from room and friendly, but you had to go and find her.

My bathroom in the room was not cleaned properly there was still some stuff in corner of shower and mould and in the cupboard under the sink looked like roach poo that wasnt cleaned either and the bedroom floor wasnt done properly either...and bbq area toilet wasnt very clean either
