We had a lovely evening meal and breakfast and the dog wasn't excluded from joining us. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was lovely. There was a lovely footpath just down the road to walk our dog. We stayed as a stop off to break the journey and it was perfect as only just off a major route.

"Lovely stay at Somerton House."

Nice welcome on arrival and lovely room and facilities. Appreciated how dog friendly the hotel is. Had very nice evening meal. Staff very attentive.

Meal service was a bit slow due to large afternoon and evening parties but staff all did their best. Apparently some staff off sick.
