"Wish we had flexibility to be long term guests."

A delightful home. Very spacious private accomodation and common areas. Breakfast was a family experience. Excellent food and friendly staff. All guests are made to feel special and welcome.

Only minor issue was couldn't adjust temperature in room. Was comfortable for wife. Im hot natured.

The breakfast was delicious home cooking. We had an amazing experience. Everyone was so nice and we were made to feel welcome and right at home. From the time we booked, Shelley immediately responded and sent all our information about the Check in . We had a wonderful experience and we will be back . Andrea was great! She had our breakfast waiting on us when we came down to eat. Food was so delicious and she was so kind, and showed great hospitality. She even gave us a tour of the down stairs it’s such a beautiful place. Thank you Shelley and Andrea for making our stay a wonderful experience.

"Exceptional"

Came to The Respite to celebrate 50 years of marriage and to honor the first anniversary of my husband's death on Sept 1st 2024. Prayed, read, journaled and remembered--perfect place to do this. It was quiet, calm, beautiful and cordial. Couldn't have asked for more from this special "respite trip". Hope to come back each year to spend some time in Thanksgiving.
