The Stables Accommodation

The cottage is lovely. It's got a great charm to it and a lovely view. Inside is nicely laid out and everything is very comfortable. Having the animals around was a great way to feel out of town and on holiday. We didn't know about the playground and that was a wonderful surprise and loved by our kids. The view is beautiful and we enjoyed playing the lawn games.

Some of the appliances didn't work well. The one stove top and the toaster. Also we couldn't stay for to long as there isn't really a food storage area but it's totally workable for a couple nights but not longer in my opinion. With the loadshedding being so regular, it might be a good idea to maybe have a small gas burner available for those persons perhaps arriving late and in the dark and needing to warm some food. Even just one of those little portable in a suitcase stoves that can warm a pot of water or soup, that use those little canisters.

Absolutely everything about this accommodation is outstanding!

Very chilled, home away from home. Remote enough while still being pretty close to the Langebaan town. the play area and animals were a hit with our Little One.

The cottage was big enough for 4 people, but would have preferred that the bathroom be separate from the main bedroom (or at least with a door).

A taste of farm-life on the outskirts of Langebaan. Simple, but tasteful and comfortable, with some quirky interior decorating.

a terrible, small, smelly caravan awaited us with a toilet and shower around the corner in a dark small outside room. No cookware and cutlery were outdated and old. We did not stay there and booked another accommodation, therefore needed to pay twice for accommodation for our holiday. When confronted the owner about the crappy caravan she just replied " In 6 months time, you will laugh about your experience at The Stables"
