The Tukad Gepuh Cottage and Resto

The most beautiful thing about this place is undoubtably the garden which is extensive and lush. It was delightful to lay by the pool and hear the birds. The cabin themselves are very nice spacious and luxurious. I appreciated the quietness and serenity of this place.

As others have mentioned, the major drawback of this place is its remoteness. This in itself wouldn’t be an issue but there was almost nowhere to find food and supplies in the area. I was only told after I arrived that the guest house was not offering food so I was, at least on one day, stranded there in the monsoon rain without food. The local Warung is okay, but you can’t eat there every day.

Wunderschöne Anlage mitten im Dschungel.

Очень красивая территория, бассейн прямо посреди джунглей, красивые домики. Очень приветливый и приятный персонал.

Очень высокая влажность в домиках, двое кондиционер не спасал. Из-за этого и запах в туалете. В одном из наших домиков (мы забронировали два, так как нас было 4) были большие муравьи в ванной и в постели. В постели немного покусали, но мы посмотрели они не ядовитые.

Sehr saubere Unterkunft, großes Bad, schöner Balkon und top Hotel Anlage (sehr naturnah und schöner Pool). Personal war Mega nett.

Es gab wenige essen Optionen dafür dass weder Supermärkte noch andere lokale in der Nähe liegen. Zudem liegt die Unterkunft sehr ungünstig auf einem Berg. Roller fahren ist sehr anspruchsvoll dort aber zwingend notwendig, anders kann man sich garnicht bewegen.

Hidden paradise in the middle of the island. Staff amazingly friendly and welcoming. Really good food, with big portions and well cooked by the staff! The entire garden is so beautiful that you could stay at home all day and admire the view and enjoy the peace and calmness of the forest. The pool is high and relaxing if you want to stay at home. The room is amazing and big. Comfortable bed. Big and clean bathroom (but with little to no light, so it's not easy to see). The curtains are thick and blocks all the light. No annoying sounds during sleep. Maybe the position is not the best... but on Nusa Penida every place is like this, so if you want to relax in the middle of the forest and you're not in a hurry to see every cliff or attraction of the island, then this is the perfect place. Take into account that you'll have to ride with motorbike for around 20-30 mins to reach some attractions or some good restaurants (if you don't eat there from time to time).

Although the location is far from the beaches, it's worth it for the beauty, great service, and good food. I would definitely return and recommend it. It's a quiet and peaceful place, perfect for relaxing after a long day.
