Sun Beach Apartments

Very clean and modern apartment, close to the beach (1-2 min to walk), close to nice tavernas and shops, quiet area, appr. 3 km to Chania center, possible to walk or use local bus (station is close to hotel).

We liked everything and had a good time in this apartment hotel.

Recently renovated and spotless. Excellent location just by the best beach in the area. Large room with basic kitchen, fridge with freezer box, comfy bed, good Aircon and WiFi. Supermarket and cafe bar right next door. Bus stop to Chania town right outside. Tho you can walk to Chania along the pretty coastline in 20 minutes. The area has everything you could want. The owners are very helpful, booking taxis and restaurant recommendations etc. lovely little pool to cool down and sun loungers that get the sun all afternoon. My terrace got the sun all morning so it was perfect. Road is pretty quiet and even though there is the sports bar just outside, I was never bothered by noise. 10/10 definitely recommend.

They wouldn't let me keep "scooby" the gorgeous little puppy in the sports bar. 😁

On a positive note, the cleaning lady was kind and did her job with a smile. She was the one bright spot in an otherwise disappointing experience.

I’ve stayed in many hotels over the years, including several visits to beautiful Chania, and unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing experiences I've had. The biggest issue is the layout of the hotel. To access the rooms or the swimming pool, you’re forced to walk directly through the bar. Not only is this awkward, but the pool itself is poorly located and has very limited space around it, making it far from relaxing or enjoyable. What made matters worse was the attitude of the hotel's bar manager. Despite having no choice but to pass through the bar area, he was noticeably rude and unwelcoming toward guests doing so. It’s baffling, considering there is literally no alternative route to reach your room or exit the hotel. This setup creates an uncomfortable atmosphere and takes away from what should be a stress-free holiday experience.

A fabulous place to stay and great value for money! 3 minutes from the beach and one of the most amazing beaches in the area. Other beaches 10 mins away were lovely too.. The apartment was basic but fully equipped.. just what we were looking for. The bed was super comfy... our most top requirements of all! Andrea's and Chrissa, were super hosts! I really couldn't recommend this place more 😍

It was all good. A bus service takes you into town about every 30 minutes. A super location.

Double Bed was super comfy, there was also sofa in a living room, but didn't use to sleep. Beach, shops, bus stop- everything in minutes by walk Loads of parking space infront and a minute walk away Very important air, space - 2 balconies, loads space in living room Been to 3 places that time and this was best He also have rental of cars and bikes can see it in front of on google street map

Fridge didn't work properly. Bar for ones could be great for others not. But time I was it was only on weekend and wasn't open till late night, don't know how is summer, but if will be busy I will better run away and back when they close. Balcony is just over bar

Sun Beach Apartments exceeded our expectations for a relaxing holiday. The room was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed, including a cozy balcony that was perfect for unwinding. We loved the convenience of the on-site car rental, provided by the same friendly owner who runs the apartments. The location is fantastic, with a quiet, stunning beach just a minute's walk away. There’s also a great sports bar nearby where you can watch football and enjoy food and drinks. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. We can’t wait to return!

Absolutely nothing. The only downside was that we had to leave!

I loved the studio, it was extra clean and had nice finishing touches there was also an adorable cat. It was difficult to leave I would love to come back.
