Bush Hideaway by the beach

Lovely cottage, perfect for a couple. Great location.

Loved the location and the bush block. On arrival the property looked fantastic and worth the price with a Beaitician mezzanine bedroom and deck and huge bathroom. On further inspection it became obvious it was all about looks, not quality.

The spa bath couldn't be used due to lack of water pressure. The bed was uncomfortable. The BBQ was filthy and smelt. The dishwasher wouldn't take dinner plates and still work, plus it was dirty and I had to clean it thoroughly. The air-conditioning only worked on cold, so no night heating except from a tiny Dimplex which took ages to warm just the dining area. For the price we did expect better.

The property was very comfortable, clean and cosy. The accomodation was very close to the beach and in a beautiful leafy setting. The property owners communication was excellent and we were grateful for them keeping us update regarding flooding in the area. we would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location, we loved the walk down to the beach and cafe. The house was quiet, cosy and private. We found the kitchen had everything we needed to make a few dinners.

Phone reception in the area isn't great and the property doesn't have WiFi.
