La Casa De Mi Sub

Mi sub is the best host, his tips are amazing and save us money. He’s always smiling and willing to help. The room was big, clean and the bed comfy. We will choose to stay here again without any doubt.

My stay was amazing from the moment I stepped in. Very immaculate, hot water, ac available and pleasant view.

Decent location, 10 minute walk into the town, 15 minutes to airport, quiet at night, supermarket very close by. Staff offered help with taxis and renting snorkel equipment. There was gym equipment free to use and you could fill your water bottle for free from their cooler.

My husband and I stayed a La Casa de Mi Sub for 3 nights. Excellent room, cozy and clean, on the ground floor, overlooking the garden. We could see outside but from the outside you couldn't see inside, which guaranteed privacy. On the top there is a nice terrace. Drinking water and hot water for a cup of tea or coffee always available at the entrance. The owner, who runs the place with his wife Sonia, is Mr. Manuel: he is extremely nice and helpful, whenever we asked for a taxi one showed up after one minute; he could also give advice and greeted us always with a smile. We had the feeling that we arrived as guests and left as friends. We also liked the cat Benito. Maybe it's not the closest place to the Malecon (even though it's not far), but with taxi rides at $2 who really cares?

Clean beds to sleep on. Ants in the first room so they switched us to another room, which eventually still had ants coming through. But it wasn’t as bad as the first room so we didn’t say anything. Weird design of bathrooms where the entrance is too short so we kept hitting out heads.
