"Cosy little"

Shires Rest is a very comfortable and cosy cottage - perfect size for the 2 of us and our dog. The host also kindly let us in early as it was hot and we needed to put our food in the fridge!

Would have been nice to have an enclosed garden area to sit in which the dog could have accessed freely - especially in the warmer weather. Carpet in the bathroom was a also little unusual.

What a lovely comfortable little cottage and we were even allowed to interact with the animals on the farm.With Buxton Ashbourne and Matlock close by it really is a fantastic base and would definitely recommend

"Lovley little place, perfect for couples. Some nice walks from the property. Comfortable pillows were nice."

The location was good for what we were planning to do.

When we arrived I wasn’t sure on were to park as not any allotted spaces. I did have the hosts number and she was able to help me straight away.
