Arden Forest Inn

Excellent experience

The cleanliness, homeyness, and quiet of the room. Sitting in the semi wild garden, drinking coffee in the morning. Just what I needed.

It was just a little more than I wanted to spend, given that it is advertised as a bed-and-breakfast, but no longer serves breakfast. Otherwise, everything about it was very pleasing. Definitely would want to come back.

This was an absolute gem of a place. We enjoyed the garden and comfort of the room, but didn't have a chance to use the pool. We were pleasantly surprise that they had a Level2 EV charger for guest use. We had a lovely walk into town for dinner. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Clean

Not close enough to walk easily to theatre. Facility was run down and not sufficiently modernized. No amenities in tiny room, very bare bones. No mini fridge, ironing facilities or coffee/tea maker. Worse was when we requested that our room be made up (fresh towels, bed made) we were told that there was no housekeeping service unless we had specifically requested it. When we contacted Booking.com to state that we were unhappy with the property, the owners aggressively banged on our door at 10:50 pm demanding that we speak with them. We were already in bed and nearly asleep so we told them we would talk in the morning. When we moved out the following morning, the owners accosted us and denied that we had any reason to be unsatisfied. Most unpleasant experience.

The location was a perfect walking distance to the theaters, and perfect distance to the bike trail. there was a friendly cat, also.

Nicely greeted upon arrival. Quiet, serene setting with lovely patio and chairs surrounded by foliage. Exceptionally clean and comfortable room. Very attractive framed photographs part of decor.
