Beautiful setting with wonderful views of the countryside. Nice size suites with fireplace, kitchenette, well appointed. Very helpful and responsive host.

Shampoo and shower gel packets are too small.

Everything! Nice location, far away from the city. The guy who manages the property is really nice and professional! I wish we could've stayed more nights! We can't wait to come back. Clean house.

A beautiful location "Casa da Urra" is an agricultural estate: specializing in wine production, cattle raising and rural tourism. A very peaceful location with stunning views of the vineyards and the city of Portalegre. With lots of activities, tennis, swimming pool, cycling and running trails. There is also a small museum focusing on the decorative arts from various parts of Portugal.

I should have stayed for longer

An honest review : This is one of the best places i have ever stayed! The road leading to the house is not the best, but everything else was perfect! The wonderful host, the cozy room, the fresh bread left at your door every morning, the full stocked fridge for breakfast, the infinite pool, the breathtaking views, the farm animals....just perfect!

Nothing to complain! Élio was a such a friendly and helpful host, even gave us a few tips on places to have dinner. I highly recommend Casa da Urra!!

Nada. Pero la carretera de acceso puede mejorar

We stayed just one night on our travels and it was one of the best places we have ever stayed. The welcome we received from Elio was very warm. He was very charming and helpful, spoke good English and showed us into the apartment (Rústico Apartamento). The apartment is very spacious and tastefully decorated with quality furniture and ornaments. The bedroom actually has 2 large beds adjoining which were very comfortable. It was all very clean and had a real luxurious feel with logos on the towels and bedding. Numerous little extras and ample breakfast fayre in the fridge and fresh bread and pastries delivered to the door in the morning. The weather was cold and quite wet in early March but the apartment was cosy. The view over the winery land is spectacular even in bad weather. The pool would be fantastic in summer. Can't fault it in any way and remarkable value for money. We also bought some of their wine to take away. It would make a perfect base for longer stays.

There is nothing quite like Casa de Urra. Beautiful surroundings, outstanding facilities and comfort and some the best small producer wine in Alentejo. Really loved our stay, thank you Elio for making it special.
