Current River Inn

The motel was very clean, the staff very friendly and helpful. And while we did not use the pool it looked very well maintained and clean. The TV in the room was fine, had a great picture. However, it is an old 60's style motel that has been somewhat updated. It has a window unit air conditioner that did cool the room just fine. A comfortable chair to sit on in the room would have been nice as well as a small shelf or something in the bathroom to put your toiletries on. The main negative and the reason why we would not stay here again was the bed. Someone had commented on one of the reviews that it was like sleeping on box springs and that pretty well describes it. When you sat down you actually bounced. The bedding was fine and the pillows were comfortable but not the bed. Maybe it was just our room. In conclusion it is fine for a night or two but if you're staying longer look somewhere else.

Very friendly, helpful owners who like their guests! Comfortable bed, great heating, good TV-streaming selection, defrosted mini-fridge (!), clean microwave, surprisingly well-supplied/equipped for an older property. Pristine swimming pool with deck chairs, safe parking, quiet, convenient right off the highway, close to Current River activities. Convenient espresso coffee shop onsite.

Motel typical of the 1950's to 1970's single level C-shaped motel with 26 rooms. Furniture and room were dated. Shower head hit me in the chest. Definitely made with little people in mind. I travel a lot and this is easily a $60 a night room, definitely not $93 a night. Would not stay again.

Older hotel but you can tell the management has tried to keep things in good shape. Staff was great!!! Place was quiet and comfortable!

This motel was great. This is our second time to stay there and we have enjoyed both time. It is our halfway point to visiting our daughter and her family. It is walking distance to the Current River.
