Current River Inn

Very clean room and comfortable bed .Right in downtown van buren close to all the restaurants and float rentals.I prefer this place over the rosecliff lodge and so much cheaper .I will be staying a at current river inn for now on.

It was nice enough for a couple of days. The inside property did not match the photo--no table/chair inside. King bed too high for a 5'2" woman to climb into easily. Property is clean, well-maintained and convenient to downtown. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

We booked a room with a king sized bed--the picture on Expedia shows a small table and chair in the king sized bed room. No such accommodation so we hauled in a camp chair and one of the outside chairs for our stay. Both of us have computers, but no table was an issue. I had seen the motel before, so was not expecting large rooms. We didn't have a window, either except in back of the large screen TV, and a small skylight over the bed. Again, not as pictured. The room was clean, and maid service was wonderful. These units do not have phones, and our comings and goings were after the office were closed. We did have sufficient outlets. I know, I should have asked at the time we checked in, but this is the first motel I have ever been in that the bed was too tall for me to get into easily. I am 5'2", and the only way I could get into the bed was to turn down the comforter, and jump up while pushing against the wall with one foot. It was only for two nights-- I can deal with anything for two nights-- but was not comfortable, since I am up and down to use the restroom at night. Some sort of small, foldable stool should have been in the room. Yes, my fault for not asking at the desk, but I cannot be the only person with this issue. We might have patronized the restaurant were it open for breakfast. Maybe paint the restaurant some bright color...honestly we didn't notice it until we were leaving.

Great staff, restaurant on property was excellent, clean, comfortable room. Only complaint is lack of outlets, which office staff attempted to remedy & window ac vents needed cleaning. I enjoyed the quaintness of the town & surrounding hiking activities.

there was a small problem checking in after that everything was great room was clean bathroom is small pool was clean & they had pool toys for kids staff very nice would stay again but would book direct thru them

Very comfortable bed!!. This place is so cute. Well maintained and very clean. This is our second time to stay here while traveling. We will definitely stay again!!

Such a quaint, well cared for gem nestled close to scenic Mark Twain Natl Forest. Family owned and run, spotless rooms and hands down the most comfortable mattress and bedding we’ve ever slept on in a hotel! We travel A LOT and stay in the finer chain hotels and none have compared to this sleep experience. Outdoor pool is reminiscent of the motels back in the day. This was our second stay being we frequent between Wichita and Nashville, we’ll be back!

Check in was easy and speedy. This is a older hotel but very clean and comfortable. We had a problem with hot water and we were quickly moved to another room. Nice fluffy towels. In room coffee would be nice. They don't offer any type of breakfast so plan ahead. The Springhouse cafe serves a great breakfast.

Enjoyed the stay, staff was great. A little out dayed but recently updated and very clean. Stayed on 2 occassions and would stay again.
